The core philosophy of this design lies in transforming traditional information dissemination into an immersive experiential learning process. We condense the complex knowledge system surrounding the sweet potato—including cultivation, varieties, nutritional value, and diverse cooking methods—and translate it into an engaging Interactive Pop-Up Book. The design strategy utilizes the spatial dimension and mechanical structures of the pop-up format to create a dynamic, multi-sensory scene for knowledge exploration for the reader.

For the visual execution, we employ a modern illustration style characterized by clean lines and saturated, flat color blocks, resulting in an overall aesthetic that is lighthearted and vibrant. The character design is specifically emphasized to be relatable; these figures, appearing as neighbors or family members, participate in various stages of the sweet potato journey. They guide the reader through interaction and exploration, effectively minimizing the perceived distance in knowledge acquisition. This combination of an approachable visual vocabulary and the playfulness of the three-dimensional structure successfully converts complex information into a relaxed and enjoyable Gamified Learning experience, allowing readers to gain a deep understanding of the sweet potato’s "earthy flavor" and cultural value through hands-on engagement.
